These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of youhooping.com (“YOU HOOPING,” the “Service”). By creating a run, joining a run, or verifying your phone number, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

YOU HOOPING lets an organizer create a recurring pickup basketball run with a shareable link, lets players join with their first name and a verified mobile phone number, and collects RSVPs on the web and by text message. The Service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use.

2. SMS messaging program

YOU HOOPING sends two kinds of text messages:

• One-time verification codes. Sent only when you request one to verify your phone number or sign in.
• Recurring RSVP reminders. Reminders before each run you have joined, plus confirmations of RSVP replies you send us.

You consent to both when you verify your phone number: the verification screen discloses that tapping the send button signs you up for the one-time code and for weekly RSVP reminder texts for runs you join. You can also opt in to reminders by texting START. You can opt out of reminders at any time by replying STOP and still use every part of the Service. You can always RSVP on the web instead.

• Message frequency: varies; typically one RSVP reminder per week for each run you join, plus verification codes and reply confirmations.
• Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed by your mobile carrier.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You may receive a single message confirming your opt-out. Reply START to resume.
• Help: reply HELP to any message, or email support@youhooping.com.
• Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator and is outside our control.

If you opt out of reminders, you will not receive RSVP reminder texts but your membership in runs is unchanged; you can still RSVP on the web.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and the subscriber or customary user of the phone number you provide. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if your number changes or is reassigned. There are no passwords; access is tied to phone verification and a session on your device.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Enter phone numbers that do not belong to you;
• Use the Service to send spam or harass others;
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, verification, or other protective measures;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or remove runs, memberships, or access that violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

5. Organizers and players

Organizers control their run’s details, schedule, and membership, including removing players. Runs, games, and venues are organized by users, not by you hooping. We are not responsible for what happens at a run, including injuries, venue rules, or disputes between participants.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that RSVP information is accurate or complete.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YOU HOOPING and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for personal injury arising from participation in user-organized games, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

8. Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
